Blindness

Blindness in your dog can develop suddenly or gradually over time. Most dogs are very good at adapting to gradual blindness, so it can be difficult to notice. Sudden blindness is a lot more obvious and dogs can find it difficult to adapt. Contact your vet for advice if you’re concerned your dog may be losing their sight.

Muffin’s Halo Guide is designed to help your blind dog navigate their surroundings, complete with a stiff neck board behind their neck, which holds the halo consistently in place. The Halo is positioned just above your dog’s eye level to act as a buffer to protect their mouth, nose and shoulders from hitting surfaces and it also acts as a signal to your dog to allow them to walk with confidence.

The HQSLC Blind Dog Halo Guide comes attached to a vest harness so your pet can wear it easily, and the double buckle design can prevent the dog from breaking free. This product is made of soft knitted fabric and ultra-light EVA. Wearing this is almost no weight for your dog.

Friendly Dog Collars have a range of collars, leads and harnesses as well as coats and vests for blind dogs. They offer an exceptional range of award winning dog products that keep you and your dog safe.
